Update on ramen container thanks for generous gesture

A representative of Wagamama kindly arranged for me to receive vouchers to make up for the takeaway ramen container that didn't contain its contents. I realise this was a gesture (no liability accepted etc), so this is just to say that the gesture is much appreciated.

Don't order ramen for home delivery

As I took the bag containing our Wagamama takeaway from the Deliveroo cyclist, the bottom fell out of the bag and the already open container of chilli chicken ramen spilled out all over my hall carpet. It was immediately apparent that the bag had disintegrated because the ramen container had not been effectively sealed, allowing the liquid contents to leak out. Deliveroo provided a replacement, but I think Wagamama should have acknowledged its responsibility for my time and trouble in clearing up the mess. Unfortunately after I spoke to a local Wagamama representative, he reported back to me that the company could take no responsibility for anything that happened after the food left the restaurant. I protested that the problem was created inside the restaurant: the seals on the ramen container were not secure and/or the bags used by Wagamama are not fit for purpose. They say there used to be a problem with containers but this has been 'fixed'. I say, stick to katsu or order elsewhere!
